This is a painting by Natalia Goncharova.
I love the colors in this painting, it was the first thing that caught my eye. This piece is very abstract and kinda reminds me of cubism, something like Picasso would paint. I couldn't find the name to this painting but I would call it Garden of Wonder. The shading and tones of the colors give life to this piece. There is so much going on in this painting and yet it is very easy and claiming to look at. The division in this painting seems to be dark at the top and brighter at the bottom. So to me it shows the dark side and the happier side of life. Showing how there is negative things in this world but there is a whole lot of good too.

The Swing
When we started discussing this in class I fell in love with this panting. I love the flirtatious girl swinging and kicking her shoe off into the woods, so innocently. Her dress I want to own and wear and swing on a swing like that one! The colors in this panting look like its at dawn and she snuck out of the house and went to meet up with boys. The colors are so bright and the way the sun shines through the trees gives the panting a innocent feeling.

Jan Both- An Italianate Landscape with Travelers on a Path.
With the sun shining through the trees and the way the clouds and the trees glow, this piece caught my eye right away! The people seem to be on a long journey and stopped for rest and food. The water stemming down the mountain and the grass covering the mountain makes this piece look so peaceful. I really love who the artist portrayed the perfect time of day, the evening. Just when the sun is going down and the shadows are covering the ground. This piece shows tranquility and warmth to the viewer.
It seems to be the changing of seasons from summer to fall. Showing the leaves changing to gold and the trees with bare branches, makes this piece show peacefulness.

This panting is The fall and the expulsion from paradise. Artist :The Limbourg Brothers
I find this panting absolutely beautiful! The colors, the use of shading, the way the artist portrayed Adam and Eve. The bright and yet claiming colors shine through in the castle and from God's blue coat. I wish I could of found out for sure which brother actually panted this but at the same time not knowing makes it more interesting. The detail in Adam and Eve is amazing, from the texture in their skin and the texture hair makes this panting look flawless. If you look at the panting of God his whole body is just glowing! Showing that he is the Holy Sprit.
